THE PRINTING TRADE

The list of materials we collect from the printing trade is extensive, and includes every conceivable product used by printers. In solid wastes, we collect ink tins, rags, wipes and all types of film. The liquid wastes include fixers, developers, plate developers (treatment unit available), gums, inks, paints, solvents, emulsions, stabilisers and fount solutions. Where products have a value in excess of the cost of recycling, we can often return a substantial sum to our customers. This can either be used to offset the cost of collecting other wastes or it can provide a welcome influx into a customer’s cash flow.
